Questions about billing and plans
Does everyone on my team have to pay?
No. Participants of a session need neither an account nor a plan – they open the link and they are in. The plan of the person who opened the session is what counts.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes - in your account under Billing, or in the customer portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then ends. You can take a cancellation back until then.
What happens to my data when I leave a plan?
Nothing is deleted just because a plan ends. Your workspace, its members, teams and history stay. What the free plan does not include - such as exports, reports, connections or additional members - is paused (read-only) instead of being removed, and is back as soon as you subscribe again. Sessions keep the retention period of the plan they were opened under.
How do upgrades and downgrades work?
You change plan in your account under Billing. An upgrade applies immediately; the unused remainder of the current plan is credited and the new plan is charged pro rata - if the payment fails, nothing changes. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you can call it off until then.
What happens if a payment fails?
Stripe tells you and retries the payment, and your account shows it. You keep your plan for 7 days after the first failed payment. If it is still not settled, the plan ends: nothing is deleted, but what the free plan does not include is paused until you subscribe again.
Do I get invoices with a VAT ID?
Yes. You can enter your VAT ID at checkout. All invoices are in your account under Billing and in the customer portal.
Which payment methods are available?
Our payment provider Stripe shows them in the secure checkout, depending on your country.
How do I get more seats on Small Business?
Up to 15 members are included. We arrange further seats with you personally – write to us through the contact form.
